Start with
On-Going Counseling to lay
a solid foundation. Then move to the next level
with Principles of Adoption.
Then add Defending the Cause of
the Fatherless. Know that all of your team
members have what it takes to bring healing and hope to
the people you serve.
On-Going Counseling
Equip
your team with the vision and tools for giving your
clients long-term support throughout their pregnancy and
for helping them grow in their relationship with the
Lord.
The pregnancy test is
positive and she has come back for counseling. You
have the opportunity to see her for several months and
disciple her in many areas of her life. This
seminar will give an overview of long-term counseling,
resources, issues and Biblical approaches.
There is so much more
to her life than the child she is carrying. You
will have the opportunity to help her evaluate her
situation and make changes or adjustments which will
last a lifetime. Learn how to disciple her into
knowing Christ.

Principles of Adoption
Build
a Biblical foundation for understanding the adoption
option so you can assist your clients with confidence
and compassion.
Effectively presenting adoption as an option to clients
can be a challenge because of your own knowledge and
attitudes, the client's understanding and beliefs, and
societal biases.
This
seminar will equip you with basic principles of
counseling that are unique to making an adoption plan,
including grief, family involvement, and planning beyond
adoption.
An
in-depth look at the Biblical framework for adoption
builds a solid foundation for a better understanding of
God's plan for all involved in the process. A
secular version of this seminar is also available.
Thoughts from previous participants...
"Thank
you so much for your recent adoption seminar! I
can't tell you how much I learned. It gave me a
lot of food for thought!"
"Thank
you for such a wonderful seminar. The heart, the
time, the energy and the research you have put into
helping others, particularly birthmothers, is
commendable."

Defending The Cause of The Fatherless
Understand the influence of fathers - past and absent -
in your clients' lives and expand your ability to reach
out to the men in their lives.
The cause
of the fatherless is close to the Lord's heart. So
close, in fact, that He tells us that He Himself is a
father to the fatherless. He has also given us clear
instructions for caring for the fatherless.
By
exploring the uniqueness of fathers and the impact
fatherlessness had had on our society, we can gain an
understanding of our responsibilities as individuals and
as ministries to address this issue in our own
communities.
Thoughts from previous participants...
"I
realized that fathers have been overlooked in our
ministry."
"We're
counseling men at our center and this information will
assist us with imparting the importance of fatherhood to
the expectant fathers and mothers."
"I knew
fathers were important, but never to the extent you
showed."
"We are
looking at beginning a men's ministry at our pregnancy
center and this conference is a powerful encouragement
to me and our ministry."
